Annual Subscription

OptiStruct can be purchased through an annual subscription based on the Altair Units licensing model. This licensing approach gives you maximum flexibility, allowing you to activate OptiStruct with the solver you need, exactly when you need it — and pause when you don’t.

With Altair Units, you receive a commercial-use subscription license that allows access to OptiStruct, HyperMesh, HyperView, Radioss, and more — maximizing your return on investment.

First, get in touch with one of our sales representatives, who will prepare a tailored quote based on Number of users, License type, Selected modules, Additional services (e.g., training), Payment terms. Upon accepting the offer, you’ll receive installation and activation instructions within a few days.

With the annual subscription, you can activate the HyperMesh + OptiStruct configuration that best suits your needs. Altair Units allow you to unlock all necessary simulation technologies.

Subscription plans are valid for one year and are billed at the start of the subscription period.

Yes. If you have an active annual subscription, you may request to transfer the license to a different machine by submitting a formal request to Altair.

Altair Units licenses are available in two types:
  • Floating On-Prem: The license is managed by a local server, and HyperMesh with OptiStruct can be used by any user within the company network.
  • Hosted: The license is assigned to a specific user and managed on a cloud-based Altair server, offering greater flexibility for distributed teams.
